One of the frequent stumbling blocks for beginner programmers of any language is successfully installing the programming language and learning the basic mechanics of writing and running programs. Because of this I am going to provide you with a step-by-step Python installation guide. Since most people use Microsoft Windows machines, Im going to focus on installing and running Python on Windows. Keep in mind that this set of tutorials is not specifically directed at Python for Windows. You can use Python (and this set of tutorials) on any machine.
